 SEVENTH WEEK OF TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 1 (11/12/23-13/12/23)

11/12/2023°°°Monday

28th day of teaching practice I had reached at correct time. Today the school was conducted sports day for all up children's and there was also a Millet fest was conducted. I had a chance to co ordinate and observe sports day and I had a duty to make sport's video for the school. Then i participated in the Millet fest. All the students are cooperated and co-ordinated in these fest. They were presented and saled variety millet food dishes. Then after lunch break I had a class on the 4th period on 9A .from there i taught a new lesson working of arm muscles.

On the 29the day I also reached at the correct time. As a part of Christmas examination the school was given revision classes .so there were no regular classes on that day. There was a meeting for teachers were conducted on that day so we had a chance to observe all the classes. After lunch break we return from the school.

13/12/2023°°°°Wednesday.

On the 30th day of teaching practice I also reached at the correct time. Today the Christmas exam was started. I had a substitution duty. It was my first experience to visit an exam hall as a teacher I ever feel this previously. This was gaven a wonderful experience to me.

4/12/2023°°°° Monday 

23rd day of teaching practice I reached the school at sharp 9:30am. Today the  UP section of the school was conducted a KG FEST (academic and non academic exhibition) in coordination with high school. So we got the chance to conduct  and co-ordinate this fest and also gave marks on the basis of their works. I got a chance to make these exhibition video,this was my first experience to interact with UP children's. This was an election day in which all the class leaders and school leader were elected by the students itself .After lunch break I had a period on 9A on fifth period.Here I taught a new lesson Different types of muscles and muscle fatigue on th new chapter Biology of movement.

5/12/2023°°°° Tuesday 

24th day of teaching practice I also reached at the correct time.Today I got a class on 8A on 3rd period and 9A on 4th period. On 8A i taught a new topic Ecological interactions. On 9A I revise and dectate notes on already learnt portions.

6/12/2023°°°° Wednesday

25th day of teaching practice I reached same as that of the previous days. School assembly was conducted on that day. In these assembly there was a pledge was announced by the elected school leader and all the class leaders. After assembly 4th period I had a class on 9A from there I taught a new topic Bones and movement

7/12/2023°°°° Thursday 

On the 26th day I also reached at the school at sharp 9 30 am. I had a class on 8A on 2nd period. Here I taught a new lesson on the topic Diverse Ecosystems. 

8/12/2023°°°° Friday

On the 27th day of teaching practice I got a classes on 3rd,4th and 5th period on 8A and 9A.on th 3rd and 5th period I got 8A and on one period I take a new lesson Ecosystem services and on second period I dectate notes on already learnt portions. On the 4th period on 9A i conducted a Model test paper on the chapter Excretion to maintain homeostasis. Today the school was conducted NAVA KERALAM program and I also a part of that program. As a part of nava keralam Govt HS Karipoor was conducted Akshara jyothi and also a flashmob was present in the school auditorium in front of all the students and teachers. The prgm was successfully completed and then we got an NMMS class for introducing OMR sheet for the students for their exam.

27/11/2023°°° Monday

on the 18th day of teaching practice I had second  observation class on my second period on 9A by my optional teacher Dr.Sindhu IP. I take a new lesson Excretion in other organisms from the unit 'Excretion to maintain homeostasis'. After the class teacher was given postive feedback from my class.and on 4th period I again had a substitution class on 9A and I take a new lesson Excretion in plants ☘️

28/11/2023°°° Tuesday 

On the 19th day of teaching practice I had a class on 3rd period on 8A and I take a new lesson 'Biosphere' from the new unit 'DIVERSITY FOR SUSTANANANCE'. This class was observed by general teacher Bindu S Nair. After the session teacher was given postive feedback and tr was given only one drawback is that mass responsing.After lunch break I had no classes.the the principal ma'am was come to the school for observation. The teacher was checked my lessons ,reflective journal and aids on that lesson.

29/12023°°°Wednesday

On the 20th day I had a class on 2nd period on 8A. Here I take a model based class in a new pattern. I taught a new topic FOOD CHAIN through INDUCTIVE  THINKING MODEL. All students are equally participated to teach that lesson in a new way. On 6th period I got substitution class on 9A  from there I dectate notes on already learnt portions.

30/11/2023°°°° Thursday

On the 21 th day of teaching practice I got a substitution class on 2nd &3rd period on 8A. From there i conducted diagnostic test from the chapter Why classification. The test was conducted to check difficulties from that chapter and for giving remedial teaching. After the test I understood that majority of students face difficulty from the topic 'plant Taxonomy'. On the 3rd period I had a class on 9A and I take a new lesson from new chapter 'THE BIOLOGY OF MOVEMENT' and the topic was Importants of exercise. With the simultaneous use of ICT and black board the content can be easily transferred to students.

1/12/2023°°°° Friday

On the 22nd day of teaching practice I had a class on 4th period on 9Aband i took a new topic INVOLUNTARY MOVEMENTS. With lots of examples the content can be easily understood by students. The class was very interested and activity oriented.
