Sixth week of teaching practice

 22/07/2024°°°Monday

On the 25th day of teaching practice o had a lesson on the topic meristematic tissues. Through this lesson the rapid and fast growth of plants can be taught very easily. 

23/07/2024°°°Tuesday

On the 26th day of teaching practice i had a lesson on the topic Economic importance of plants through various videos and slide presentation. All the economically benefited plants from our nature can be easly taught.

24/07/2024°°°Wednesday

On the 27th day of teaching practice there is no period for me. But i got a substitution class on 9A and 8A. From 8A i conducted an achievement test and paper was collected.

25/07/2024°°°Thursday

On the 28th day of teaching practice the school was conducted an football tournament. The schools teens club conducted this physical game. All the students were equally participated to this.

26/07/2024°°°Friday

On the 29th day of teaching practice i had a lesson on the topic Gift of nature through various activities. With the help of slide presentation and videos the content can be taught with extreme pleasure.plants are given economic and ecological benefits this can be help to survive human. There are several services are provided by mangrove.

INNOVATIVE WORK-phase 2

               Innovative work

Introduction

An innovative work can be defined as a new idea, device or method. It is something original and more effective and as a consequence new that breaks into the pupils. Two interesting dimensions of innovation including degree of novelty and type of innovation . One active work should be a catalyst to growth. Innovation may be linked to positive changes in efficiency, productivity, quality, comprehensiveness and intellectual development. Through innovative work the teacher can improve students performance by providing group work opportunities and resources to innovate. It is necessary to create and nurture an environment of innovation.

Topic chosen for making innovative work

PLASTIDS

         As a part of my teaching practice phase I adopted an innovating work based on the eighth standard chapter LIFE MYSTERIES IN LITTLE CHAMBER.From this chapter the topic was choosen as PLASTIDS. It was a game and the game were named as FRUITS LADDER. All the students co-operate with this. Students are very active and interested to learn plastids through this fruit ladder game. 

PROCEDURE OF MY INNOVATIVE WORK

  This was a fruit ladder game same as snake and ladder. Firstly there should be given a proper instruction for students. It was based on the programmed learning strategy. This was very effective for all categories of students. 

To start this game all the students are divided into two groups. And select a leader from both.The leader come to front and tose the dice. Inorder to throw it there should be answer a question in the 1 column. And any group answer it they get first chance and the grp don't know the answer they were suggested to take remedial card and learn and go on. Each question there was a reward. When  reaches the ladder there also a question and any group answer it they go through the ladder and the condition is that those group giving answer to that question will stay in that column unless they engulfed by the snake and return back. This process repeated until finish the game.

 On the 21th day of teaching practice i had a lesson on the topic FROM A SINGLE CELL through individual activities and group activities. 

17/07/2024°°°WEDNESDAY 

On the 22nd day of teaching practice i had a lesson on the topic stem cells through various activities.Stem cells are unique cells with the remarkable ability to develop into many different cell types in the body during early life and growth. They serve as a repair system, dividing without limit to replenish other cells as long as the organism is alive. When a stem cell divides, it can either remain a stem cell or become another type of cell with a more specialized function, such as a muscle cell, a red blood cell, or a brain cell.

On the 23rd day of teaching practice i had a lesson on the topic animal tissues on 8A. This was really pleasurable day. This was my third observation day and class was observed by Anuja teacher. Various aids and interesting activities are done. Overall good feedback is provided by the teacher. 

19/07/2024°°°FRIDAY

On the 24th day of teaching practice i had a lesson class on 2nd and 4th periods.in 8A i got a substitution class and in 9A i haad a lesson class and i take a new topic OCEAN A WONDER. The ocean is indeed a wonder. It covers more than 70% of the Earth's surface and is home to a diverse range of life forms, many of which are still undiscovered. The ocean plays a crucial role in regulating the Earth's climate, produces more than half of the world's oxygen, and absorbs significant amounts of carbon dioxide.

 On wednesday 10/07/2024 school assembly was conducted to discuss major activities of the school.school HM was sharing many information and rules for the students.

4th week of teaching practice

 On the 16th day of teaching practice i had a lesson on the topic Nucleus on 8A. I taught this lesson with model and interesting activities. All the students learn all this parts of a nucleus very easily. And i enjoy teaching and all this students. They made my day joyfully.

 on the 17 th day of teaching practice i was absent due to personal inconvenience.

   On the 18th day of teaching practice i had a lesson on the 4th period and 6th period on 8A. On the 4th period there was a observation class. This was my second observation. class was observed by sindhu tr. Teacher gave me a positive feedback after the lesson i took the class with suitable introduction and various specimens are used to taught the topic Plastids. Interesting activities are provided for this lesson and teacher gave me a good respose to all these activities. Corresponding review and follow up activities are provided according to time.

    Pn the same day i got a substitution class on the same class. There i had a new lesson on the topic Animal cell through picture. From the previously learned plant cell animal cell can be taught through comparing them. Also this i can provide suitable learning activities and review and follow up.

ANIMAL CELLS

Onn the 19 the day of teaching practice on the forenoon session their was a program were conducted by the school. This program contribute book and other studying materials for students. In the afternoon i got a class on 4th and 6th period. From there i conducted diagnostic test on 8A and Unit test on 9A. All the students participated. Then the 5th period i help to conduct a quiz competition based on the topic population. 

On the 20th day of teaching practice i had a lesson on the topic various nutrients from glucose. This topic was taken through INDUCTIVE THINKING MODEL all the students gave positive and correct respose in each question. This model helps pupils to improve their intra personal skill and cooperation. All group were participated in a effective way. Students close coordination is very essential to teach the concept through this model. And rake this lesson very effectively.

On that day i also take a new topicon 8A on the topic DIVERSITY AMONG CELLS through various activities and memorization technique. Today i given a new activity for this topic named as letter game. With the help of ICT and slide presentation the content can be taught very easly. New innovative activities and ideas can be taught easily and most remembering way.

On the 11th day of teaching practice i had a lesson on the topic Prokaryotes and Eukaryotes through CAM (concept attainment model). With the help of several examples organism with and without nucleus had teach very confidently. All the students gave positive response. ICT can be used to provide several organisms like bacteria, cyano bacteria, amoeba, euglena etc are teach with pictures.

On that day i teach a new topic on the topic plant cell on 8A on the period on 6th period. With the help of a learning aid plant cells and their parts are taught very easily and interestingly. This was my first observation class and this was observed by my optional teacher Sindhu teacher. Several activities has been provided in this lesson and i had a positive feedback on that. All the students have positive feedback.

On the 13th day of teaching practice i had a class on 8A on second period. I took a new topic on the lesson cell organelles through individual and group activities. With the help of teaching practice i take this lesson in an interesting ways. Through various activities i had a new lesson with the help of activities and teaching aids. Their are different types of cell organelles that also differs in plants and animals.

On the 14th day of teaching practice i had a lesson class on the topic photosynthesis through various activities and videos through ICT. Only green plants can do photosynthesis in the presence of sunlight. Photosynthesis are mainly takes place in chloroplast of the leaves.

On the 15th day of teaching practice there is no regular classes due to Basheer day. There are several programs are conducted by the school. There was an amazing program and each of them gave a pleasure and happiness.
