               Innovative work

Introduction


An innovative work can be defined as a new idea, device or method. It is something original and more effective and as a consequence new that breaks into the pupils. Two interesting dimensions of innovation including degree of novelty and type of innovation . One active work should be a catalyst to growth. Innovation may be linked to positive changes in efficiency, productivity, quality, comprehensiveness and intellectual development. Through innovative work the teacher can improve students performance by providing group work opportunities and resources to innovate. It is necessary to create and nurture an environment of innovation.


Topic chosen for making innovative work

PLASTIDS

         As a part of my teaching practice phase I adopted an innovating work based on the eighth standard chapter LIFE MYSTERIES IN LITTLE CHAMBER.From this chapter the topic was choosen as PLASTIDS. It was a game and the game were named as FRUITS LADDER. All the students co-operate with this. Students are very active and interested to learn plastids through this fruit ladder game. 

PROCEDURE OF MY INNOVATIVE WORK

  This was a fruit ladder game same as snake and ladder. Firstly there should be given a proper instruction for students. It was based on the programmed learning strategy. This was very effective for all categories of students. 

To start this game all the students are divided into two groups. And select a leader from both.The leader come to front and tose the dice. Inorder to throw it there should be answer a question in the 1 column. And any group answer it they get first chance and the grp don't know the answer they were suggested to take remedial card and learn and go on. Each question there was a reward. When  reaches the ladder there also a question and any group answer it they go through the ladder and the condition is that those group giving answer to that question will stay in that column unless they engulfed by the snake and return back. This process repeated until finish the game.
